Wealth Manager

Ira Zito’s passion for finance began when he was 12 years old. At that time, he watched his mother struggle to manage the finances all on her own; she was widowed and unable to work due to a disability. In the years that followed, he vowed to help other people avoid the hardship his family had felt.

After graduating from High School on Long Island, Ira’s education consisted of a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Accounting at the State University of New York in Oneonta, a Master of Business Administration at Long Island University, Certified Financial Planner professional designation from and the College for Financial Planning and Chartered Financial Consultant professional designation from the American College for Financial Services. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Financial Services Institute.

Ira began his financial career in 1989 as an accountant, analyzing the financial statements of corporations and providing strategies to potentially lower taxes, reduce expenses, increase income, and stay compliant with corporate policies and procedures. In 1997, he decided it was time to do what he really wanted, which was to help families achieve their lifelong financial goals. Since transitioning from accounting to financial planning, Ira has worked with some of the most prestigious financial firms in the industry. These experiences led him to become an independent financial advisor and fiduciary.

When he is not helping clients, you can find him spending time with his wife and two young children while keeping active outdoors.
